Charity Partner - Spinifex Skateboards
10% of all art sales plus a silent auction on the skateboard painted by East Arrernte artist Mary Oliver was donated to Spinifex Skateboards for their First Nations Skate Tours program.
The funds raised from Eight Inch Blunt allowed the 2021 tour to go ahead.
First Nations Skate Tours:
We aim to take 6-10 young people on an annual interstate tour which will provide opportunities for young people to build strong relationships, confidence and self -esteem through physical activity and provide them with experiences which will assist to expand their world view.
Cross-cultural learning and development is a major aspect of this business. Educating and exposing our younger generations to unfamiliar territory is one way of building a positive and respectful future.
